Új fejezet nyílik Egyetemünk életében

Intézményünk több ízben beszámolt arról, hogy a Kormány 1785/2016. (XII. 16.) „Fokozatváltás a felsőoktatásban” középtávú szakpolitikai stratégiájának értelmében, számos hazai egyetemmel együtt, részt vesz a hazai felsőoktatás megújulásában. Ez a folyamat idén decemberben döntő mérföldkőhöz érkezik. A Kormány által az Országgyűlés elé terjesztett törvénymódosítási javaslatok (T/13676 és T/13677) értelmében megújuló Egyetemünk 2021-től a NAIK csatlakozásával, alapítványi fenntartásban működik tovább. Az Innovációs és Technológiai Minisztérium a törvénymódosításban 2021. február 1-jét nevezi meg a modellváltás fordulónapjaként. Intézményünk már megkezdte az előkészületeket, hogy zökkenőmentesen és felkészülten léphessünk be az új fenntartói rendszerbe. Szeretném biztosítani Önöket, hogy az Egyetem vezetőségével a modellváltás során továbbra is polgáraink elégedettségét, az oktatás színvonalát és Intézményünk közös jövőjét tartjuk szem előtt.

Mindemellett az előterjesztés értelmében 2021. február 1. szimbolikusan is új fejezetet nyit Egyetemünk életében, hiszen Magyar Agrár- és Élettudományi Egyetem név alatt működünk tovább.

Our institution has already communicated it several times that our University, together with other Hungarian universities, participates in the renewal of Hungarian higher education in accordance with Government Decision 1785/2016. (XII.16.) on the adoption of the "Change of Pace in Higher Education Medium-Term Policy Strategy 2016". This process reaches a decisive milestone this December.

Pursuant to the legislative amendment proposals (T/13676 and T/13677) submitted to the Parliament by the Government, our University will continue to operate as a foundation from 2021, with the accession of NARIC, the National Agricultural Research and Innovation Center. The Ministry of Innovation and Technology designates 1^st February 2021 as the starting date for the model change in the amendment to the law. Our institution has already been preparing for the smooth start of the new maintenance system. I would like to assure you that the leadership of the University will continue to focus on the satisfaction of university citizens, the quality of education and the common future of our Institution during the model change.

According to the proposal, the date of 1^st February 2021 symbolically opens a new chapter in the life of our University, as we will operate under the name of Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
